After successfully completing 2010 new year resolutions the 2011 resolutions proved to be a bit harder. Probably due to relocation and starting a new job (essentially the same job but several time zones to the east) I ended up 2 sonnets short. Gestation periods of enough animals proved far too hard to find. I did manage 12 hybrids though so since 2010 I have kept 4 out of 6 resolutions. This year I have decided on the following resolutions…
1) As it is year of the dragon I will draw 12 dragons, one real one the other 11 will be the other 11 signs of the Chinese zodiac in dragon costumes.
2) As a tribute to the TV programmes Ultimate Warrior and possibly Harry Hill have a pair of duellers each month and decide the winner using the power of rupert bear style rhyming couplets
3) Redesign a nations flag at least once a month
Although my war against the donor kebab may seem difficult to fight from Asia (where there is dog meat, turtle, desserts that are less sweet than the main courses) I have noticed that here you can have kebab in the mornings for breakfast. So the message is still relevant worldwide… do not eat elephant leg style kebabs!
