The James Joyce of Toy Town

Apparantly according to the site “I Write Like” my style is James Joyce. However I analysed a few limericks which have come up as having the style of Stephen King for some and Daniel Defoe for ones about cricket. I look forward to reading some of Stephen Kings limericks and Daniel Defoes limericks… I think they may go something like this

The child was not quite alright in his head,
And he would have strange dark dreams when in bed,
As his wardrobe would rattle,
You could hear running cattle,
As they were chased by some dogs who once were dead.
~
The man woke up and exclaimed “Oh heck”,
As he was on an island after the ship wreck,
If only he had a man Friday,
Before he sailed who could say,
“Have you got your razor? Should you not check?”

Unfortunately my stephen King limerick apparantly accoriding to the site, the style of Charles Dickens, whereas the Daniel Defoe one apparantly is Stephen King like. I thought Dickens be more of this sort…

The poor downtrodden starving little orphans,
Had no friends family or fans,
Society was to blame,
It really was a shame,
That they had no mother, father uncles, or grans.
~

Apparantly this is more James Fenimoore Cooper than Dickens though, so if that was your first thought when reading it well done.

Do you have a spam problem on this website; I also am a
blogger, and I was wondering your situation; many of us
have created some nice practices and we are looking to trade solutions with
others, why not shoot me an email if interested.

First of all I would like to say awesome blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior
to writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind
in getting my thoughts out there. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Kudos!

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this
topic to be actually something that I think
I would never understand. It seems too complicated
and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will
try to get the hang of it!
